We have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the British University in Dubai (BUiD) and the University of Nicosia. This collaborative venture marks a pivotal moment in advancing the understanding and promotion of blockchain technology.

Prof. Abdullah Alshamsi, BUiD’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Blockchain Center, and Mr. Antonis Polemitis, Chief Executive Officer of the University of Nicosia, came together to affirm their commitment to this partnership. This innovative project resulted from a collaboration between the University of Nicosia and BUiD’s Centre for Risk and Innovation (DCRI). Dr. Maria Papadaki, Director of DCRI, highlighted the center’s commitment to collaboration and its alignment with the visionary goals set by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the world’s first city fully powered by blockchain by 2020.
